I think somebody forgot an ! in an if statement somewhere...

Yes, I never understood the theory behind the ink "eraser".  And I do feel like an old guy now because I haven't seen one of those in forever.

There actually are ink erasers that do remove ink. But they are not the grey ones people are most familiar with. They are called "imbibed" erasers. are usually yellow or orange, and have a chemical in them that basically bleaches out the ink as you use them.

They only last a month or two after you have opened them, then they are about as useful as one of the grey ones.

Only people who had to draft in ink would probably even know what they are though.

I also dimly remember using erasable ink pens when I was in grade school.  Do those exist?  I seem to remember that the ink had a habit of rubbing off on your hand since it was erasable by virtue of never quite drying and being sticky enough to glom onto the eraser...

Yes, they exist (or at least existed), and they were AWFUL to use as a lefty. Not that any pens are great, but the whole side of my hand would be blue after a while with those.

They were also $3 a pop.  For a damned eraser!

I got it, was humming the tune myself when I read it; but it doesn't fit with the Tebowing thing.
