And the Bell Jar Utd. is SO CLOSE to utter failure! With an interesting and pretty weird but cool bloody win over the Necco Waivers (2 - 1), Sylvia Plath's ladies are in the Loser Bowl, waiting for some weak Humans or some stinky Norses. Bring it ON!








On the side, Star Thrower Sylvia Plath completed two game-winning passes and is now 4 SPP short of Level 5, while Margaret Atwood joined the forces of evil upon dying on the pitch, became a Necco Waiveress, and has been instantly replaced by radical cybernetic feminist Shulamith Firestone.

I gather Bann is travelling atm and back by tomorrow. Thanks to horrible timezones this probably means tuesday or wednesday morning my time - but we can confirm schedule once he is back.

I've got my netbook with me. Im returning home today. We are 7ish hours apart, so Im doubtful we will have a chance today, but hoping to play either monday or tuesday (whichever day I can sneak out of work early.)

Was actually a really good game unti then, Bann's humans dominated most of the first half, KOing seemingly most of my team, but crucially lost the Ogre badly hurt. Then a two turn score made it 1-1 at the half. Second half the Norse were stronger, with some favours from the block dice, held the humans off on the touchline, before running in a TD on turn 15.

Bann could probably be more careful around frenzy (quite a few crowdsurfs), and was probably a bit too aggressive on the second drive, leaving him without safeties to stop the two turn score.

Spoke to Bann on steam, and seems he can't even get a browser atm, but will post when he can and is ok to let the result stand - looks like we'll be ready to move on to the *real* season 4 final shortly!

Sorry to Eldaec for discoing yet again during a match, and for postponing the end of this day of the failoffs. Not really sure why I've been having all this connection trouble lately, but it sure is annoying.

The game was pretty much over except for scumming some SP, so I would like to request the the game be validated as stands via Eldaec's BBM upload. I felt pretty confident in the first half, but got way to agressive on a blitz when I should have kept back. Was a fun game, and I learned that I need to pay more attention to where pieces with frenzy can endup/push things.

Should be ok - we're having power strikes today, but will be able to play so long as the wired and radio internet don't fail simultaneously.

Also, I'm a bit concerned about playing before the AndyDavo/Llyse support act gets its time in the sun. Having them follow the titanic clash between the Bell Jar and Silver Horde seems a bit like Rebecca Black following the Beatles. Oh well.
