Very cute, but that's a sled (or possibly a toboggan), not a sleigh. Sleighs have runners. That always bugs me.

We call them toboggans in Minnesnowta.  I find it funny that a "toboggan" in the south is a hat rather than a sled.

I went ahead and sent that to my wife -- ELA teacher. :) Ten bucks says it ends up her current background photo at work. (The last one I saw on her work desktop was the sad Stormtrooper -- those were the droids he was looking for...).

Well, I believe those are Raven in actuality. Which "ruins the joke", seeing as a group of ravens is known as an unkindness of ravens. The four things leading me to believe those are ravens would be the large fluffy necks, the strightness and size of the beaks, the what would look like pointedness of the tail feathers (hard to tell really from the picture angel) and the foot tags.

Well yeah, but both are Corvus so it's not totally off-base.

I'd forgotten it was called an unkindness of ravens.  I wonder how gatherings of birds/animals got named at one point?

If I had a bubble pipe I'd post a picture trying to mimic that.

My google-fu failed. I have it at home, but at one point I saw a chart that had a giant listing of what groupings of mythological creatures were called -- deities, all sorts of things. (heck, it might be buried back in this thread).

I can't remember any of them, sadly, but it was hilarious.

Good idea, except I'm pretty sure the accepted groupings for Dragon, Vampire and Unicorns are wrong.  I'd always heard Flight, Coven and Blessing respectively.

The entirety of the Mechanical class and "Lawn of Gnomes" still give me a good chuckle.
