Peanut Butter M&Ms have too much sugar in the peanut butter. It ruins them and makes them as awful as the candy corn ones they came out with this year.
Peanut M&Ms however, are delicious. Except I swear Mars changed the chocolate formula and is using an inferior cocoa because their taste has changed sometime in the last 11 years. They're just not as good as they once were.
Still, they aren't as ruined as Skittles are with the addition of green apple. That shit is terrible and doesn't mix with the other flavors. You can also no longer mix a Limon skittle, which makes me terribly sad.
I know far too much about sugary sweets.

Since this is apparently the peanut butter and chocolate related thread this week, I made these last night: http://theviewfromgreatisland.com/2012/03/peanut-butter-chocolate-chip-shortbread-cookies.html1 stick, (1/2 cup) unsalted butter, at room temperature (important!) 1/3 cup creamy peanut butter 1/2 tsp vanilla extract 1 1/4 cup all purpose flour 1/4 cup confectioner’s sugar scant 1/2 tsp sea salt 3/4 cup milk chocolate chips Mush the first two, combine the dry, mix, add chips. Make a log on wax paper, roll tight and refridgerate. Slice thin, bake at 325 for 13 minutes, let cool. |
