This is a BBC show that's been around for a few years but I just recently started watching it since it came to Netflix. My father had been watching it for awhile now and loved it but I wasn't interested in watching since our tastes in comedy are different. However, it is one of the funniest shows I've ever seen. The title character is played by a man in a dress (which seems to be the height of British/Scottish/Irish comedy for some reason, seeing a grown man in a dress ) but once you get past that it's absolutely hilarious. There is a lot of NSFW language and topics and it's not for children but it really fits the characters, a working class Irish family with Mrs. Brown as the matriarch. One of the really unique parts is that it's filmed in front of a live audience and some of the mistakes the cast (flubbed lines) and crew (cameras coming into the shot) make are incorporated into what we see on the show. I highly recommend checking it out. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tA0iLtT46fYhttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QarofaycN3c
