Catch me on a big-time bye week, and you might as well be playing the little sisters of charity. Otherwise, I think I'm top 3 this year right now. I'm also willing to talk trade to get myself a premium WR. Send me proposals.

Funny, Mike Vick is still the 10th overall most popular pick by actual rankings.

I did a wave of pickups so my bench doesn't look like a clown school. Going to be an interesting season.

Yeah I had to replace Joe "I was around when dinosaurs roamed the Earth" Horn with Matt "I'm a Honky" Jones.

I don't like my WRs much.

The Commissioners got TOTALLY RAPED by the autodraft.

Believe it or not, my complaints were heard and I have had two encouraging emails with the Yahoo! guys. I am not asking for any change to the draft results.  I just wanted to highlight the poor AI and they seem generally interested and perplexed.

Gotta say that the tools and support Yahoo gives for a free online service, is pretty sweet.

God that sucked ass. Even ESPN's horrible service was better than EA.

Finally got back into town and took at look at the damages that AutoDraft did.

I just stared at my team roster for like 20 mins last night.  I'm so out of it this year I'm not even sure who half my players are.

Time to play catch up.

Oh fuck off. Your team is fine compared to the shit I had on my bench.  evil You have excellent RB depth and solid, if not shining, WRs.. Other than Owen Daniels, none of your players come close to the "who the fuck is that guy?" syndrome I woke up to (and have since jettisoned.)

Now if only Tony Romo can throw 300+ yards pass for 4 TD's and rush for another every week, I'll be golden.

edit: sry, 4td's.

He'll have to play an NFL defense eventually. That JV shit the Giants put on is nothing like what he'll face elsewhere this year.

The sound of laughter heard on draft day when I took Moss and Roethlisberger is now drowned out by the people laughing at me for leaving both on the bench.

I love it when you put up enough points to beat absolutely everyone in the league... except for the guy you're going up against. If Deion Branch had done something, ANYTHING, I'd be looking at the win. Witten, Minnesota D, and Burress put up monster points and Branch, Jackson, and Benson shit the bed.

I just need Palmer to outscore Stover by 8 points tonight and I still might squeak out a win.

Yuck, very possible that I lose this game despite being up 30 and having my kicker left.  I don't see Rudi getting a lot of points against Baltimore's D, but it's possible and Fitz could just go off.

My team is holding up a lot better than I expected this week.  Ronnie Brown is going to be a source of disappointment all year long.

In the basement game of thr week, I am going down against P-Town since he has 3 slots playing tonight and I only have one.  I wish I could blame this week's performance on the autodraft but my starters were all reasonable picks. Just not their week.

Aaaaand... Palmer helps me squeak out the win. I went .500 in four leagues this weekend, however my $20 Sport Select ticket worth $26k, unsurprisingly, was not to be.

That Ravens/Bengals game was fun, even if Rudi didn't get me enough points. The Cardinals/49ers game was painful. PAIN-FUL. Two teams trying to outsorry each other. I will say that Mike and Mike (and Mike) making their debut in the NFL booth was a refreshing change from the early game. I love Ron Jaworski in the booth, but fucking Tony Kornhole just irks me to no end. Put the 3 Mikes in the booth and keep them there.

I want to cockstab Drew Brees. What the fuck is wrong with him and for that matter the entire New Orleans offense? They looked like a JV team against TAMPA GODDAMN BAY. Fuck me, it was painful to watch. At least he got one TD. As it is, LEINART has more total points than Brees.

And of course, I run into the buzzsaw of Carson Palmer's 6 TD passes. Shit.

Whatever has afflicted the Saints has also struck the Chargers. They were completely inept last night.

I had a rough ride this week, thank GOD I have Palmer in this league or I'd have been 0/4 for the week. Ran into a Palmer/Steve Smith combo in one league and I just plain drafted bad in the JV league. I had high hopes for Maurice Jones-Drew that are rapidly disappearing.

Well I need the Philly defense to have a massive game against the Skins, which I don't see happening. However, if they toss up a shutout with a couple turnovers and a few sacks, I'm on the winning side this week.

Not so good. I don't see this season working out well for me if my crappy WR's average 5 points a freaking game.
