They never got the original to a production quality, so I view their expansions as more "huge required patches and bugfixes (in which we inadvertantly create scads more bugs and fuck up the game even more)". The only difference is that apparently some people pay for these patches that should be free. Either way, it's just more shit shoveled on the pile.

Good news, IMHO. Smokejumper could make a good Tribes game, but he didn't really exploit what a massively multiplayer FPS could be. That this new guy refuses to reveal his new name could mean he's paranoid, or it could mean there's big changes a'coming. |

From what has been posted on the boards by "SamHaynePS" (not his real name), one can see that he has been a very active player of PS despite not beeing with the PS team until Wednesday or so. That is good. Abashi perhaps? He certainly has reasons to hide his real name... :) (Don't even know if he is with SOE anymore. I'm just starting rumours here.) |
