The only helps if the company is willing to listen to advice which BioWare clearly wasn't/isn't.

Bioware isn't the one who would have had to listen. It's EA. This is following the exact same history of every other developer that EA has bought since ever.

If you read (and believe) the article the upper management at BioWare Edmonton was simply refusing to listen to feedback from its own employees and were doing stupid shit like telling people not to talk about Destiny and ignoring the advice about how to handle co-op gameplay from BioWare Austin.

Yes, obviously so, but with two flops out on the market I think the appeal may be growing. Bioware isn't the one who would have had to listen. It's EA. This is following the exact same history of every other developer that EA has bought since ever.
Also obviously, and EA is the one with all the money so that's the entity you'd approach. Bioware is incapable of concluding design meetings, so clearly they are hopeless morans destined for the dustbin of society. If you read (and believe) the article the upper management at BioWare Edmonton was simply refusing to listen to feedback from its own employees and were doing stupid shit like telling people not to talk about Destiny and ignoring the advice about how to handle co-op gameplay from BioWare Austin.
I think these are exactly the same types who would hire an outsider to tell them what they did wrong in return for a fat check. I am not often right, though.

Why am I homeless? Why do all you motherfuckers need homes is the real question. They called it The Prayer, its answer was law Mommy come back 'cause the water's all gone

I did read it and I saw that. Problem seemed to start from the EA "you must make a game that is this with this engine" and filtered down to Bioware management thinking they could do no wrong and that game design just kind of fucking happens at the last minute if you believe it hard enough.

Borderlands on Steam has a new HD version. It's much prettier.
I think there's a way to import your old characters, but I haven't looked at it too much yet. I don't think Borderlands had steam cloud saves back when I was playing it. Actually I'm not sure it has them now.

p sure it had steam cloud back in the day, but it was opt in back then, or an option in game - certainly does now, it's right there on the page

Long-time tabletop favorite PARANOIA is getting the vidja game treatment. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bpROgV6NbsoIn a show of benevolence, Friend Computer has declared that it is authorizing BIGBEN to be part of a project that will make life more perfect for you and your fellow citizens! The company has just joined the ranks of willing servants of Friend Computer alongside Cyanide and Black Shamrock, and together they are announcing the development of Paranoia: Happiness is Mandatory: a darkly humorous CRPG, adapted from the tabletop role-playing game created by Dan Gelber, Greg Costikyan and Eric Goldberg.
If you are reading this, Citizen, then you are a person Friend Computer officially trusts. In fact, you must be one of its favorites. And it wants to show you how much it cares - by officially appointing you Troubleshooter with Red clearance! Your mission is to unearth traitors of Alpha Complex and to neutralize them. Friend Computer will definitely maybe reward you for your loyalty!
Stay alert! Trust no one! Keep your laser handy because Alpha Complex is not an entirely safe place, despite Friend Computer's unquestionable kindness. During your missions, you will be tasked with fighting Terrorists, treasonous Mutants and Secret Societies.
You must deceive and scheme to survive because even members of your own team can be a threat! Be warned, you are constantly being watched and it may be proved necessary to terminate you without notice at any moment. But don't worry! If that happens, at least you have clones available to try your luck again. Just don't expect the new clone to be completely the same as the original...
Despite everything you've just heard, be assured that Alpha Complex is and always will be a utopia. Thanks to Friend Computer, you will be happy every day. What's that look? Do I detect some doubt? Are you happy, Citizen? Be warned, not agreeing with Friend Computer is tantamount to treason, and treasonous actions are punishable by death... I'm as excited as an infa-red drone can possibly be.

Best game of my childhood.
They're gonna fuck it up, aren't they ? I don't see how you put Paranoia in a video game.

Hell the problem as I see it is I'm not sure Paranoia would be *funny* anymore, these days when it's hard to tell an Onion headline from mainstream news...

Done correctly, Paranoia is the funniest game in the history of games, irrespective of what's happening in the real world. If it can be done, I'll Fucking Be There.

Cyanide's involvement in this is weirdly appropriate. What Could Possibly Go Wrong?

High drama in the City of Heroes fandom (yes, that's a thing -- devoted fans for a game that's 7-years gone). Turns out, there's been a super-sekret, invite-only private server called SCORE running the game since shutdown. The fans are very angry. Tho, from what I can tell, they're angry that they wern't invited, not that SCORE exists. Now that the server's existence is revealed, there are multiple requests/pleas/demands to release the server code. No comment from NCSoft yet. https://massivelyop.com/2019/04/15/score-city-of-heroes-emulator-leak/

Well, the most popular SWG server right now (SWG Legends) is post-NGE, so you know what you need to do.
Search your feelings, you know it to be true!

I couldn't finish it. I think as a $20 rpg it might not be terrible but I think it was fairly dull. Maybe someday I'll load it back up, but honestly I forgot it existed on my Switch.

It's not even that. It's really it's own weird abortion. My problem is that it all feels the same, and they make you do it 8 times. I thought they'd learned their lesson on that shit after bravely deault 1, but here we are.
